Each component may take part in several communication protocols at the same time, each one taking part over a so-called connector. Valid sequences of message exchanges are usually modeled in a communication protocol. There arise several important questions concerning protocols: Given a protocol how to ensure that each participant conforms to the protocol on the model level? Conversely, given multiple components how to extract the protocol? In our position statement, we propose a technique for ensuring protocol conformity based on extraction of statechart views from each component's statechart.","lang":"eng"}]}
