The goal is to develop an intelligent cruise control in order to extend the vehicle range, i.e. to minimize energy consumption, by computing the optimal torque profile for a given track. On the one hand, a path-based linear model with strong simplifications regarding the vehicle dynamics is used. On the other hand, a nonlinear model is employed in which the dynamics of the mechanical and electrical subsystem are modeled.","lang":"eng"}],"doi":"10.1016/j.protcy.2016.08.059","intvolume":" 26","title":"A comparison of two predictive approaches to control the longitudinal dynamics of electric vehicles","author":[{"first_name":"Julian","full_name":"Eckstein, Julian","last_name":"Eckstein"},{"full_name":"Peitz, Sebastian","first_name":"Sebastian","id":"47427","last_name":"Peitz","orcid":"https://orcid.org/0000-0002-3389-793X"},{"last_name":"Schäfer","first_name":"Kai","full_name":"Schäfer, Kai"},{"last_name":"Friedel","first_name":"Patrick","full_name":"Friedel, Patrick"},{"last_name":"Köhler","first_name":"Ulrich","full_name":"Köhler, Ulrich"},{"last_name":"Hessel von Molo","first_name":"Mirko ","full_name":"Hessel von Molo, Mirko "},{"first_name":"Sina","full_name":"Ober-Blöbaum, Sina","id":"16494","last_name":"Ober-Blöbaum"},{"last_name":"Dellnitz","first_name":"Michael","full_name":"Dellnitz, Michael"}],"date_updated":"2022-01-21T14:10:10Z","_id":"8758","page":"465-472","volume":26,"language":[{"iso":"eng"}],"year":"2016","type":"conference","publication_identifier":{"issn":["2212-0173"]},"status":"public","date_created":"2019-03-29T13:35:25Z","publication":"Procedia Technology, 3rd International Conference on System-Integrated Intelligence: New Challenges for Product and Production Engineering"}]
