Abstract
The technical article describes the simulative support of work planning and work control through a cloud application. On the basis of virtual machine tools, customers are supported in the automated setup of the machines and in efficient order scheduling. The approach presented is the core of the research project "Intelligent work preparation based on virtual machine tools" (InVorMa) within the framework of the top cluster "Intelligent Technical Systems OstWestfalenLippe" (it's OWL).
