Abstract
The behavior of waveguide plasmon polaritons is studied employing ultrafast coherent control like schemes for a gold lattice coupled to a photonic waveguide for the structure. Different models to describe the third-harmonic generation are presented and the resulting equations are solved numerically. The calculations are compared to recent experimental data and show good agreement for the most prominent features in the time-integrated third order intensity.
