Description
Bei der Zweiphotonen-Emission erfolgen optische Übergänge durch die gleichzeitige Emission von zwei Photonen. Hier wollen wir Zweiphotonen-Emissionen, die durch nichtentartete Femtosekunden-Impulse stimuliert werden, experimentell und theoretisch untersuchen. Ähnlich wie bei nichtlinearen Absorptionen sind solche Prozesse vermutlich dann massiv überhöht, wenn sich die beteiligten Felder stark in ihrer Frequenz unterscheiden. Konkret wollen wir solche Prozesse in verschiedenen optisch gepumpten Halbleitern (GaAs, GaN, ZnO, Cu2O) als Funktion des Frequenzverhältnisses der treibenden Signal- und Idler-Felder untersuchen und so eine neuartige optische Nichtlinearität in Halbleitern beleuchten.
