Abstract
We present an electronic-photonic co-designed Mach-Zehnder modulator with linear segment drivers in a photonic SOI-CMOS technology with an EO 3-dB bandwidth of ≥ 27 GHz and data transmission up to 64 Gbit/s without pre-emphasis.
