Das Thema dieses Teilprojekts ist die Ausführung von Services auf heterogene Rechenknoten: Welche Architekturen, Mechanismen für die Servicemigration und Programmiermodelle eignen sich für die effiziente Nutzung heterogener Rechenknoten in einem OTF Compute Center? In der dritten Förderphase wollen wir Ansätze zu Beherrschung der Komplexität moderner Architekturen und Laufzeitsysteme untersuchen. Dabei werden wir zum einen Methoden des Self-aware/Self-adaptive Computing für ein autonomes Management von OTF Rechenknoten einsetzen und zum anderen Verfahren zur Modellierung von Multi-FPGA Clustern sowie für die Abbildung von Services auf diese Cluster entwickeln.
