Description

Das vorrangige Ziel dieser Projektphase ist die Entwicklung integriert optischer Schaltkreise in LiNbO3 für Anwendungen in der Quantenmetrologie. Basierend auf den Baukasten von LiNbO3-Komponenten, den wir in der ersten Projektphase entwickelt haben, sollen verschiedene Konfigurationen nicht-linearer SU(1,1) Interferometer realisiert und deren Anwendungspotential für hochempfindliche Phasenmessungen im bisher relativ unerforschten Gebiet der integrierter Quantenoptik mit kontinuierlichen Variablen untersucht werden. Darüber hinaus sind neue physikalische Einsichten über nichtlineare Quanteninterferometer zu erwarten, da diese mit unterschiedlichen Farben der interferierenden Photonen betrieben werden können und neuartige Perspektiven für die Entwicklung von Quanten-Lichtquellen und für die Quanten-Informationsverarbeitung bieten.
